CAPTCHA and reCAPTCHA

In todays era each and everyone uses Smart-Phone or Laptop PC. Once in a lifetime each and everyone goes through a process called as CAPTCHA and reCAPTCHA. CAPTCHA and reCAPTCHA is a system that is designed to make sure that computer user is human or a robot. It is a free security service provided by google that protects your website from spam and abuse.It helps to detect abusive traffic sources on websites.It provides security to your website from bots. CAPTCHA and reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the use is human or not.

CAPTCHA was introduced to stop spaming and to stop computers or bots to make thousands of id's in just one second. In 2003 CAPTCHA was designed by Luis von Ahn, Manuel Blum, Nicholas J. Hopper and John Langford. In CAPTCHA it shows variety of letter that can be seen by human eyes, Those letters are not readable by computer. Humans can see those letters and type them and after submiting it will know whether the user is human or bot. In 2009 the company CAPTCHA was sold to Google. Then Google updated CAPTCHA with reCAPTCHA. reCAPTCHA is also known as noCAPTCHA. reCAPTCHA includes I am not a robot dialogue box with a check box in it. In reCAPTCHA user just needs to tick the check box. When you click the check box the information like ip adderss, name of your country, city location, movement of your cursor will be send to the Google. Then Google checks the behaviour of your cursor movements. When Google gots to know, even if it is 90%, that you are a human, Google allows you to go ahead. If Google thinks that the user is a bot then it shows images in which user suppose to click the traffic signal images.
